Saona is named after the river where Wool Dreamer's founder's grandfather, Julian, and his two sons; Teodoro and Ramón, would bring their mule-drawn cart full of wool fleeces. There, they spent the days washing the wool and allowing it to dry on the banks of the river in preparation for carding, spinning, and finally weaving to make blankets in the family mill.
